Molly Blyndeff History[edit source]

Past[edit source]

Molly Blyndeff ran the store for two nights in a row and convinced her Dad to chaperone the field trip to the Sweet Jazz City Museum. He also says he would be home the night of the field trip, Molly assuming this means he'll be running the store that night.[1] The Neo trio all ended up in different tour groups.[2]

Molly says her epithet is actually dumb.

While on the field trip to the Sweet Jazz City Museum her Dad was loudly dancing, and when Molly pointed out that it was drawing looks from her class, her Dad said he was simply trying to jazz up the tour. Causing the Tour Guide, Mera Salamin to tell him to stop due to her being only booked for two hours. Molly then watched as the Tour Guide explained Epithets, Mundies, and Inscribeds. When she asked if anyone had an epithet her Dad piped up and said Molly did. When asked what it is, Molly anxiously said it was Dumb, Mera misinterpreted this, even when reiterating it. So, Molly just watched as chaos ensued when Indus Tarbella, the other tour guide, revealed his epithet to be BARRIER.[1]

Martin Informs Molly she has the night shift.

Meanwhile, She learned from her father that she would be running the store again tonight despite Martin being home, Molly working the last 2 nights, and planning to catch up on homework. Martin argued that Chaperoning and watching Molly do the worksheets was hard on him. She then watched as Stink was rude to her father before handing over her phone when her father asked to play games. Molly continued to watch the chaos as Indus would try to make the tour more interesting leading to a fight for artifacts on the ground that Martin would soon join. Being overwhelmed by noise she formed a Silence Bubble and walked away before stumbling into Sylvester Ashling, accidently getting covered in his Weird Dandruff. She removed the bubble to apologize before storming off and collapsing from exhaustion.[1]

The Banzai Blasters bust in as she calls 911.

Later, Molly woke up in the Museum, after the class discovering her class had left and seemingly no one else in the Museum. She tried to look around for anyone but found no one. She realized her Dad has her phone and she is locked in. Having come to the conclusion that she must have tripped some security lasers, and therefore is a criminal, she used the phone on the receptionist desk called 911. (The only other option being internal calls) As she explains this to the woman on the phone, a group of Banzai Blasters, led by Giovanni Potage, bust in. Giovanni said they're here to rob the place blind and Molly told the woman on the phone to hold.[1]

Molly hit by Giovanni's soup ball.

She watched as Giovanni attempts to be threatening, being very dramatic, even he reintroducing themselves as the Banzai Blasters. Giovanni asked where everyone was and she responded that they all had gone home. Giovanni attempts to save this by saying they must have heard they were coming, before he reintroduced themselves again and poses. Molly takes the chance to attempt to report this robbery to the police, but before Molly can report much, Giovanni knocked itthe phone out of her hands using a ball of liquid. Giovanni steps on the phone and asks her how his epithet tastes. She responded it tastes good like Tomato Basil. He quickly accepts the compliment before pivoting to the saying it's Lava, then acid, then Lav-Acid. Molly asked if it his epithet was Soup. Even though he attempts to bluff, she is right. He gets mad at her and Molly tried to calm him down before getting tricked into revealing she also has epithet. [1]

Molly picked up like a kitten by Giovanni.

Giovanni picks her up by her hoodie and brags about defeating her to his minions before saying he does not have time for her, since he has to steal from the museum. She watches as Giovanni realizes he has to split up his team, with Flamethrower, Car Crash and Ben to guard Molly. Ben tries to argue but Giovanni counters that it was his fault they were not robbing at midnight. He appoints the rest to come with him as he tries up Molly in the deckchair. Giovanni tells her to stay there and be good, Molly says OK. Molly watches as the Banzai argue and she begins to resign herself to her fate before, Indus enters the room. Indus informs her that he was looking to see if anyone else was here, there was, and there was a hole, so he figured to fix it he'll use a BARRIER. [1]

Molly explains the situation to Indus.

Molly casts a Silence Bubble to quiet him before explaining that the Blasters that are left are bad guys, and further explains the situation. She convinces him to untie her from her chair. At first he tries to use a small barrier, it failing, Molly convinces him to use his hands, and while ripping away the tape he explains he cannot let them go and steal things due to having to protect Mera. He challenges the Banzai Blasters to a duel, but Molly's Silence Bubble is still up so she moves away from him and he challenges them again. She watches their duel of posing before being asks who was better. Molly chooses Indus, and so he charges at them. She watches as he gets stuck and the Banzai Blasters mourn their friend who was knocked out. Ben suggests his Banzai name be "Kidpuncher", after realizing what he means.[1]

Molly uses Dumb Down Intelligence.

Indus suggests she defends herself, she says she can't use her epithet to attack before grabbing a jar of thumb tacks, spilling them onto the ground, and bluffs that they are dumb tacks. The Banzai Blasters complain about safety, with Ben beginning to pick up the thumb tacks, before Car Crash suggest they just go around them. The Banzai Blasters grab Molly while she tries to quip that "Kidpuncher" is an underwhelming bad guy name. After some encouragement from Indus, and her commenting that she shouldn't use this ability on people, she uses her epithet: Dumbing down the intelligence of the two Banzai Blasters. Molly tells Ben he is a car who wants to hit Car Crash, he succeeds, Molly surprised it worked.[1]

Molly watches Indus Leave.

Indus says she did good work before requesting she frees him from the wall. Molly says that would be impossible before Indus seemingly does it himself. Molly asks if she should call the police but Indus responds that he was ordered to not to under any circumstances. Molly points out more Blasters went further into the Museum, so Indus chases after them, being concerned for Mera. Molly tries to ask if she can use his cell phone.[1]

"Huh?"

Molly catches up to Indus to find Giovanni Potage attacking Mera but, Molly dumbs down the damage. She explains this to Lady Mera as Indus grieves on the floor. Molly asks for to borrow Mera's phone but she asks Indus to grab her. She asks what he is doing, Indus says he is just following orders, before being thrown in the air as Indus and Mera defeat Giovanni and his minions. Mera then states she will rob the museum much to the surprise and confusion of Molly.[1]

Mera then explained that the Tour Guides was just there cover and that they in fact sneaked into the museum to steal the Arsene Amulet, and now they plan to also steal Molly's epithet once she finds it. After Molly points out this is the opposite of their job, and Mera points out that are obviously not trying to be. Molly replies that she could tell. Mera tries to counter that she just wasn't trying, to which Molly points out Indus was. Indus is delighted by proof that he was right and even more so when Molly gives him four stars. Indus tries to tell her she needs to engage more but Mera shots him down restating their goals.[3]

Giovanni Potage History[edit source]

Past[edit source]

Later, He was promoted to Banzai Captain. Formulating a plan to break into Sweet Jazz City Museum, wanting to break in at midnight but had to do it earlier due to not having a ride that could take them at that time: Ben couldn't fit it into his schedule (his mom wouldn't let him drive past five) and Car Crash was unable to take them due to having already crashed one car four times this month.[1]

Giovanni's Team in the museum.

A week later, at 8:28 PM, Giovanni Potage blows up the wall and charges into Sweet Jazz City Museum, saying they are the Banzai Blasters and she will rob the museum blind. As his minions fumble in behind him, he finds a little girl (Molly Blyndeff) on the phone. While trying to look cool, he walks over and kicks a plant to show he is a certified bad dude™ , accidently hurting himself in the process. To try and save face he tells his minion to shoot it. He tries to sound cool and intimidating, before squealing in pain again. He flips around and his cape smacks into his face. he introduces himself again and poses with his minions before realizing that no one is here. He asks where everyone is and laments about cool it was, prompting the Molly to respond that the museum is closed for the day. Giovanni bluffs they must have heard about them and were scared, posing again.[1]

Giovanni after Molly correctly guesses his epithet.

Molly says she would like to report a robbery into the phone, prompting Giovanni to knock the phone out of her hand using a ball of soup. He then stomps the phone with his foot and explains that this si hsi first mission as a Banzai Captain and won't let her ruin it. He asks her how his epithet tastes and Molly replies that it tastes good and like Tomato Basil. At first he accepts the compliment, saying he seasoned it himself, before pivoting and saying it's lava, then acid, then lav-acid. Molly says it tastes like soup and asks if his epithet is soup.[1]

Giovanni goes searching for treasure deeper in the Museum.

At first too stunned to speak, Molly asks if he is OK before explaining that it seemed like a fair thing to do since he was attacking her. He gets mad and asks if she thinks she is "REALLY something", she says no and that her epithet is dumb. Once having confirmed she has an epithet he teleports behind her and grabs her "like a cat" by her bear hoodie. He gloats that he defeated another person effortlessly before telling her that he can't spend time on her because he has to rob the museum. He begins to charge to the vault or wherever the museum stores its stuff. He stops suddenly and assigns Flamethrower, Car Crash, and Ben to guard Molly. Ben tries complains and Giovanni counters about their earlier scheduling issues. He then takes Crusher, Spike, and Dark Star to raid the museum with him.[1]

giovanni's minions's bullets bounce off the invisible barrier.

Giovanni busts through a door labeled "Employees Only" and finds the museum values, and he laughs and comments on this he finds a lady (Mera Salamin). He asked for treasures and Mera mocks him by asking if he means all of them, further asking what his plan is and if it is to walk out of the museum with a "literal metric ton" of exhibits on his back. Giovanni thinks on this for a moment before saying that he'll take just the cool ones. Mera comments on how he didn't think through and calls them dopes. Giovanni says he'll show her and that they are best equipped Banzai blasters money could by. Mera tries to mock him by asking how much his allowance that bought him, he replies that it was obviously three, he, and his minions begins to laugh at how she can't count. He tells his minions to fire at her but they are stopped by an invisible barrier.[1]

Giovanni grieves his minions

They are confused before Indus charges in explaining that his epithet, barriar, stopped the bullet. He realizes he can't hit her at a distance so he teleports behind her, but his attack does barely any damage as Indus wails. Molly explains she dumbed down the attack. Giovanni ponders on all of this while Molly is grabbed by indus. He is ignored till he comments on all of this, Indus grabs him tossing him with the rest of his minions. They use the move Scattergun to knock out his minions and deal massive damage to him. He then starts grieving his minions.[1]

Mera asks Molly again.

Martin Blyndeff is obnoxiously dancing and Mera asks him to quiet down. He says he will and Mera continues explaining Epithets very basically, to the point she considers it insulting. She asks who is Inscribed and Martin Blyndeff raises his hand and loudly points to his daughter, Molly, much to her dismay. Her father pressures her into saying it, saying it is "Dumb". Mera thinks she means it is dumb but when she it is actually "Dumb", she gives up and asks the rest of the class again.[1]

"This stuff is so basic it's insulting."

Indus Tarbella says he has an epithet so Mera rushes over and tries to push him away but a kid from the class, Stink, said he wanted to know what his epithet was. Indus says his epithet is BARRIER. He explained his epithet before creating a barrier. Mera, a little later, watched an interaction between Molly and Martin before Indus comments that the tour members are distracted, calling her Lady Mera, which he told her not to.[1]

Mera pulls Indus close.

Indus suddenly gets an idea and runs over to tell the kids about a 'magic artifact', and begins telling them about the Arsene Amulet. Mera tries to tell him to stop multiple times but he keeps going so she pulls him aside and reprimands him. Indus points out that he thought it would 'spice up' the tour. She tells him that she'll stick to giving tours and he can stick to moving boxes. He says he'll do it with gusto, flexing, throwing the box he was holding onto the ground, it shattering, and exposing the ancient artifacts inside.[1]

Mera fights with the kids.

This causes all the nearby kids to all dive for them. Mera tells him he should hope the amulet was not inside there, Indus apologizes and tells that at least the amulet isn't in there. Mera yells at the kids, before jumping into the fight as Indus watches. She tells Martin to do something, Martin misinterprets this and swan dives into the battle, not wanting to miss the "good stuff". Mera groans.[1]

Mera and Indus clean up the Museum.

Indus decides to do something, getting the group's attention before flexing, shredding his shirt, Mera comments that he has her attention, before the disappointed students go back to battling for artifacts. Later, at 4PM, she tells the group to get out of the museum over intercom. After they leave, Mera and Indus clean up the Museum between 4:02-6:24 PM. Mera then instructed Indus to make sure no one was here, him leaving to deal with some people who showed up.[1]

Mera is saved by an invisible barrier.

While in the backroom, a group of Banzai Blasters show up, their leader, Giovanni Potage, asking for her treasure. Mera mocks him by asking if he means all of them, further asking what his plan is and if it is to walk out of the museum with a "literal metric ton" of exhibits on his back.

Mera uses Scattergun.

Indus loudly enters the room saying the bullets can't reach Mera due to his epithet, barrier. Giovanni teleports behind Mera and strikes her from behind, but it does no damage, perplexing everyone. Molly shows up, saying she dumbed down his attack. Mera asked what just happened, and Molly explained her Epithet can dumb down pain before asking to barrow her phone, also explaining why she didn't ask Indus. Mera orders Indus to grab Molly. Giovanni asks why he feels ignored and Mera replies because you are, before having Indus throw him back to his minions. They then use Scattergun to knock out the minions and injure Giovanni. Mera asks him to pass out since she doesn't want interfering while she robs the museum.[1]

The Dust from the explosion.

A week later, Giovanni's Banzai Team burst in unannounced as Giovanni Potage says they are going to rob the museum blind. Giovanni Potage then gave a very clumsy speech about how they're going to terrorize the museum-goers and he attempts to assert his authority as a "Certified Bad Dude™" by kicking a potted plant, getting hurt. Giovanni notices, to his dismay, that no one besides a little girl, named Molly Blyndeff, is present in the museum. While he gives a further speech about the dangerous threat his group poses, Molly tries to call the police and report a robbery. Giovanni lobs a ball of soup at the phone to knock it out of her hands, which Molly deduces is tomato-basil soup. Giovanni tries to pass the soup off as a ball of "LavAcid", but She asks him if his Epithet is soup. Giovanni is stunned/embarrassed and in response he tricks her into revealing hers as well. Giovanni remarks that he doesn't have time to deal with her. He ties Molly to the receptionist's chair before assigning three of his Blasters to guard Molly (Flamethrower, Car Crash, and Ben). He argues with Ben about this, before taking the other three Blasters (Dark Star, Crusher, and Spike) along to find "the vault".[1]

The Blasters form a pyramid.

The remaining Blasters begin to bicker, while Indus Tarbella enters the room unnoticed by them. He challenges the Blasters to a duel. They accept and get into a battle-pose formation. Indus, realizing it is a duel of posing, poses himself, looking "downright majestic" while Flamethrower uses his male cheerleading skills to form a pyramid, after dealing with being flustered by his fellow Blasters reveal he does Male Cheerleading. Flamethrower asks Molly to be the judge of who poses the best. Molly chooses Indus, and he takes the first strike, bowling the Blasters over and getting himself lodged in the adjacent wall.[1]

Molly uses Dumb Down Intelligence on Ben.

With Flamethrower knocked out, Car Crash and Ben decide to take matters into their own hands. Ben deems himself "Kidpuncher" and makes to attack Molly. She attempts to distract them by throwing a box of thumbtacks across the floor (dubbing them "Dumbtacks"), and it works for a second until Car Crash mentions they can just go around the thumbtacks. When they reach Molly, Indus (still lodged in the wall) encourages her and reminds her to use her Epithet. She uses her Epithet to "dumb" Ben down, making him susceptible to any suggestion or command. Molly convinces Ben that he's a car on the loose, and Ben promptly chases Car Crash down; knocking the two out near Flamethrower. Indus finally dislodges himself from the wall and is informed by Molly that there are still Blasters in the museum premises. He immediately runs off to find them, Molly following close behind.[1]

The Blasters are bombared by Scattergun

Meanwhile, the other Banzai Blasters discover Mera in the back room of the Museum. Mera antagonizes the group, noting their lack of forethought; Giovanni is very offended. As Mera continues to heckle the Blasters, they attempt to shoot at her. Their bullets are promptly stopped by an invisible barrier. Indus rushes into the room and joins Mera. Giovanni decides that since ranged attacks don't work, he'll have to get melee-range. He builds up steam, and uses his "Teleports Behind You" attack, attempting to hit Mera with his "Soul Slugger Doom Bat of Maximum Destruction" (a wooden bat with a knife taped to it), but his attack does a trivial amount of damage. Molly appears, explaining that she dumbed down Giovanni's attack so it wouldn't hurt Mera. Upon realizing what Molly's Epithet is capable of, Mera orders Indus to grab her. She also orders him throw him toward his Blasters. Mera and Indus perform "scattergun", knocking out the minions.[1]

Mera told Indus to take the Blasters and guard them. Afterwards, Indus commented that he can't guard the Blasters and protect her, but she countered that there is no need to protect her from the weak Banzai Blasters. Mera and Giovanni argue about their threat level before Indus grabbed the Banzai Blasters and Molly to be locked up in the Dinosaur Exhibit, behind a barrier, before Indus wondered off. Giovanni then began venting about the botched mission to Molly, who is sitting on the unconscious bodies of his blasters. He also began complaining about not being trapped in the dinosaur bones before commenting that he wrote that's how he would liked to be buried in his last will and testament, which he wrote because he lives a life on constant danger. This caused Molly to reply with her reason for writing one, that life is fleeting, causing Giovanni to be bummed out and to call her a bummer.[3]

A little later, Giovanni commented they had to get out of there since Mera wanted her epithet, but Molly countered that she should have since it she didn't need it herself, Mera sounds like she wants it, and life as a Mundie wouldn't be so bad. Leading to Giovanni explaining that she shouldn't give up her cool powers while Molly tried to downplay them. When Giovanni commented that he would have clobbered Mera if Molly had not negated his attack. Molly pointed out that they seem strong so that might not have done her in. This led to them arguing about if his minions were powerful and Giovanni commented that he's not sure if he can win now that he is minionless. So he made Molly his minion, learning her minion, and giving her the minion nickname: "Bear Trap".[3]

He told her to think of a way out of this as she's minion and he's his minion. She thinks bring Indus over and to try and convince him to release them. After the first no she gives up but Giovanni convinces her to try again.
