EP 1-4 Novelization (working title: Breaking Silence[1]) is the upcoming novel adaption of EP 1-4, also known as the Museum Arc, of Epithet Erased. It will be produced because the Prison of Plastic Kickstarter reached $240K.[2] It will not have an audiobook.[3] It will be the 2nd Epithet Erased novel as well as the 1st one chronologically.

- November 28, 2021 - EP 1-4 Novelization was added as stretch goal of $240K to the Prison of Plastic Kickstarter.[4]
- December 26, 2021 - The Prison of Plastic Kickstarter finished with EP 1-4 Novelization's stretch goal of $240K being met[5]
- May 30, 2022 - On Twitter, he announced that he won't begin working on it, and the rest of the Epithet Erased Novels, till Prison of Plastic goes to print.[6][7]
- October 5, 2022 - On Twitter, it was revealed it will not get an audiobook.[3]
- May 9, 2023 - In a Kickstarter Update, he announced he would begin writing the book after 2-3 months of working on non-epithet projects, so Mid-Summer.[8]
- October 10, 2023 - It was announced that writing and submitting both this book and the next book were higher priority than the Epithet TTRPG[9]
- October 31, 2023 - On Twitter, It was announced Brendan Blaber would begin working on the Season 1 Novelizations, asking people on Twitter what they would like to be added. Also asking, "Is there anything you guys liked in the first season you want to see more of? Any dynamics you liked? Anything that wasn't there that you wanted to see?"[10] Further noting that adding more moments of Howie Honeyglow would be one of the best additions. Also saying the possibilities "Redwood Run book" he is excited for. While the "Museum one" will be 95% the same as Season 1.[11]
- November 9. 2023 - On Twitter, It was once again announced that Brendan Blaber is working on the Season 1 Novelizations.[12] Planning to do mayor group release of the three with Prison of Plastic.[13] Noting how weird it was to describe Molly Blyndeff for the first time again.[14]
- December 8, 2023 - On twitter, it was again said writing had begun,[15] and announced the current working title is "Breaking Silence". It will be the first thing he worked on and thing he'll work on EP 5-7 Novelization and then Sweet Escape. All this while simultaneously working on Epithet TTRPG.[1] He also mentioned the title may change, similar to how he changed Prison of Plastic's name after a thematically impactful line.[16]
- c. December 12, 2023 - The official Epithet Erased Twitter account changed their name to say that 4 pages had been written.
- March 9, 2024 - On Twitter, it was announced that the page count was "doubled"[17] to 32, however it would not save.[18]
- c. April 9, 2024 The official Epithet Erased Twitter account changed their name to say that 26 pages had been written.
- June 26, 2024 - On Tumblr, it was revealed that Sylvester Ashling’s gender will be revealed to be a little more amorphous in this book, now going by They/He pronouns. This was done after consulting Zack Maher.[19]
- April 14, 2025 - On Bluesky, Brendan Blabler announced that he would be continuing to work on this book.[20] He also confirmed that not only is he doing an Audiobook version, but it will all be rerecorded instead of using audio from Season 1.[21]
- April 21, 2025 - On Bluesky, Brendan Blaber announced that he write a description of whats it like to first get an epithet, noting that it was fun.[22]
- April 24, 2025 - On Bluesky, Brendan Blaber noted that Mera Salamin and Sylvie fans are "eating good" in this book.
- April 26, 2025 - On Bluesky, Jello released promotional art featuring Mera, her father, and her mother by Rhea Burtram.[23] As well as concept art of the three by Rhea.[24]
- April 27, 2025 - Brendan Blaber confirmed that the Season 1 Adaptions will be illustrated like Prison of Plastic.[25]
- Prior to May 6, 2025 - the Epithet Erased Bluesky's name was changed to reflect that 86 pages were done.
- May 7, 2025 - On Bluesky, Brendan Blaber announced that he completed the first draft of the book, landing at 48k words, 100 pages in his program, exactly what he was aiming for.[26]
- May 26, 2025 - Brendan Blaber released the first illustration on Bluesky.[27]
- June 10, 2025 - Brendan Blaber released a cropped illustraion on Bluesky, stating that the full thing was a secret.[28]
- July 1, 2025 - Brendan Blaber annouced that he started the third draft of the Museum book and realesed another Illustration. he also noted that the copyeditors gave him lots of ideas that will take awhile but he thinks will be wroth it.[29]
