EP 5-7 Novelization (working title: Cowboy Colors) is the upcoming novel adaption of EP 5-7, also known as the Western Arc, of Epithet Erased. It will be produced because the Prison of Plastic Kickstarter reached $270K.[1] It will not have an audiobook.[2] It will be the 3rd Epithet Erased novel as well as the 2nd one chronologically.

  • November 28, 2021 - EP 5-7 Novelization was added as stretch goal of $270K to the Prison of Plastic Kickstarter.[7]
  • December 26, 2021 - The Prison of Plastic Kickstarter finished with EP 5-7 Novelization's stretch goal of $270K being met[8]
  • May 30, 2022 - On Twitter, he announced that he won't begin working on it, and the rest of the Epithet Erased Novels, till Prison of Plastic goes to print.[9][10]
  • October 5, 2022 - On Twitter, it was revealed it will not get an audiobook.[2]
  • May 9, 2023 - In a Kickstarter Update, he announced he would begin writing the book after 2-3 months of working on non-epithet projects, so Mid-Summer.[11]
  • June 23, 2023 - On Twitter, Jello tweeted an image of a funny word check he got while what writing appears to be this book.[12]
  • October 10, 2023 - It was announced that writing and submitting both this book and the previous book were higher priority than the Epithet TTRPG[13]
  • October 31, 2023 - It was announced Brendan Blaber would begin working on the Season 1 Novelizations, asking people on Twitter what they would like to be added. Also asking, "Is there anything you guys liked in the first season you want to see more of? Any dynamics you liked? Anything that wasn't there that you wanted to see?"[14] Further noting that adding more moments of Howie Honeyglow would be one of the best additions. Also saying the possibilities "Redwood Run book" he is excited for. While the "Museum one" will be 95% the same as Season 1.[3]
  • December 8, 2023 - On twitter, it was announced work would not begin on the novel till EP 1-4 Novelization's writing was finished,[15] and announced it will be the first thing he worked on and after EP 1-4 Novelization is finished. The he'll work on Sweet Escape. All this while simultaneously working on Epithet TTRPG.[16]
  • May 7, 2025 - Brendan Blaber said that this book would probably end up being about the same length as the EP1-4 Novelization, and would include more Howie.[4]
  • May 20, 2025 - Brendan Blaber announced that he started working on this book.[17]
  • c. May 21, 2025 - The Epithet Erased BlueSky's name was undated saying that 11 pages had been written.
  • May 24, 2025 - On Bluesky, Brendan Blaber said he neeeded a name for a new Banzai Blaster in this book, asking for submissions.[18] He ended up diciding on "Card Shark" by Twiggs[19]
  • c. May 25, 2025 - The Epithet Erased BlueSky's name was undated saying that 15 pages had been written.
  • May 25, 2025 - On Bluesky, Brendan Blaber revealed a character that would cameo in this book. She's a character that had previously only appeared in scrapped projects and lost streams.[5] In a DM, he also explained that the book is in-flux and is playing around with the format so her scene might get moved or cut.[6]
