On a field trip to the Sweet Jazz City Museum, Martin Blyndeff, the chaperone, annoys the class before Molly Blyndeff, his daughter, and Mera Salamin, the tour guide get him to stop. She then continues her tour about Epithets before asking the class if any of them have epithets. Martin raises his hand to alert her to about Molly's but she misunderstands when Molly says it is "Dumb". Mera goes back to asking the class and Indus Tarbella, an employee moving boxes, says he'll show them his epithet. Mera tries to shoo him away but the kids all chant they want to know. He flexes, creating a barrier, much to the excitement of the children.
Meanwhile, Martin informs Molly that she has the nightshift despite having worked the past few nights, Molly is defeated and hands him her phone when he says the tour is boring. Indus notices this and how the others are not enjoying the tour as well, so he calls the children over and begins to tell them about the Arsene Amulet before Mera stops him reminding him that the museum isn't public yet. Indus agreed, flexing, accidently throwing the box he was holding onto the ground shattering it. The kids dived into the pile of artifacts, Mera not far behind to try and stop them. She asked for help from Martin but all he does is dive in as well to get some treasure of his own. Indus tries to get their attention but fails.
Molly is overwhelmed so she creates a Silence Bubble and wanders off, her father unable to hear her. She bumps into Sylvester Ashling, accidently being covered in his Weird Dandruff, causing her to collapse from exhaustion seconds later. The field trip ends, with the class leaving, Martin unaware he left his daughter behind, and Mera and Indus closing the Museum. Lastly, Sylvie managed to sneak in.
Molly wakes up in the Sweet Jazz City Museum after it had closed and looks for anyone else but finds no one. She realizes she is locked in due to the doors being locked and panics and attempts to call 911 to turn herself in for being a criminal for being there after hours. However, Giovanni Potage and his team of Banzai Blasters burst in, announcing his plans to rob the museum blind. Indus apologized and Mera told him to stick to moving boxes.
Giovanni gives a speech about how they are going to rob the museum and how they are cool before realizing Molly is the only one there. Molly attempts to reports them as Giovanni tries to change this into how they are cool but Giovanni knocks the phone out of her hand with a ball of his epithet.

Brendan Blaber, when he started working on this arc, was trying to keep it a tournament arc like the Anime Campaign episode it is based on, but quickly switched it to be set in a museum. It also included Dan Gansley before he was cut prior to him starting to work on the Episode 4 script. He also explained that it is written "whole cloth" from scratch.[Citation Needed] Despite this is it still serves the purpose of the AC episode. It took three drafts to write.[6]

The Epithet Erased episodes and the Anime Campaign episode they are inspired by are vastly different, to the point that Brendan Blaber considers it not be a adaption due to it mostly being written "whole cloth". Despite this mainly core things carry over between them. However, the differences are:

Instead of it being set in the Sweet Jazz City Museum, it is set in the Regional Below Ceremony, a tournament. As such being a "tournament arc".
Several names are different including: "Gemeni Necklace" instead of "Arsene Amulet" and "Bushido Blasters" instead of "Banzai Blasters",
Molly goes there intentionally to promote the store, instead of a field trip, and accidently becomes a fighter instead of being locked in overnight.
Moxie Roughhouse, Charlotte Scarlet, and Gulie Manning are characters on the first group alongside Sylvie who is twelve and is not there because of the necklace.
Mera is person running the tournament and already has the necklace. She has at least two other epithets including: “Bughouse” and “Eventual”.
