Epithet

Epithets are rare powers emitted from a word attached to one's soul. They enable the users to "do... stuff!" (as said by Mera Salamin) According to Mera's tour in the first episode, one in every five people have an epithet. When one has an epithet, they are "inscribed".

The inscribed can use their epithets in different ways. For example, Giovanni's epithet (Soup) not only makes a yummy dish, but can also make a "Demon Energy Aura" (steam is formed and rises off of Giovanni's body, dispelling anything in the air around him; introduced in episode two) among other things.

Molly Blyndeff: Dumb Simplifies, lessens, or mutes things.

Giovanni Potage: Soup Makes tasty soup that has a range of possible abilities.

Mera Salamin: Fragile Can increase an object's frailty until it shatters. Unfortunately, this also affects the user. Meaning that if the user were to accidentally bump into someone, their bones would easily break.

Indus Tarbella: Barrier Creates barriers of varying sizes and shapes.

Dr. Sylvester Ashling: Drowsy Has a collection of sleep-based abilities such as inducing drowsiness, bringing dreams to life, et cetera.

Percival King: Parapet Creates tiny castle in varying types.

Ramsey Murdoch: Goldbricker Can turn anything the user touch into soiled gold.

Zora Salazar: ??? For now it's unknown what her Epithet is.

Arnold Markdown: ??? For now it's unknown what his Epithet is.

Bugsly Pugsler: ??? For now it's unknown what his Epithet is.

Gorou Shimizaki: Bluster Allows the user to blow hard although it is unknown if it's a real Epithet or it's something Gorou made up.
