The make alone is pretty nice... 'Bout 60 years old-Eh, 65, give or take. 'Prolly worth at least a few thousand bucks. But when you throw in the fact that you can steal any epithet you want with this baby? I can think of more than a few people who'd wanna get their hands on this thing. |

The Arsene Amulet is a vintage necklace imbued with the power for its user to steal epithets from others.
Description
The Arsene Amulet is a golden pendant with a large, green heart-shaped crystal in the center. The outer shell has cat-like features such as whiskers and ears to reference its original creator's epithet, "Copycat."[2]
History
Past
60 to 65 years before the Banzai Blasters' raid of Redwood Run[3], an inscribed thief with the epithet "Copycat" feared he would eventually lose the ability to replicate and steal other people's epithets to old age. He forged the Arsene Amulet to retain his powers and imbued his epithet into it.[1][2] Sometime after, it was donated to the Sweet Jazz City Museum and kept in its storage room.[4] Bliss Ocean eventually learned of its location and sent Yoomtah Zing to steal it. [5]
"Museum Arc"
However, two employees of the Sweet Jazz City Museum, Mera Salamin and Indus Tarbella found the amulet first, with the intent of stealing it for themselves.[4] After Dr. Sylvester Ashling tried and failed to stop Mera from keeping hold of the amulet, Mera used it to steal his epithet. When Molly Blyndeff fell from the ceiling vent almost immediately afterward, Mera used the amulet to summon one of Sylvie's abilities, Nightmare Fuel, to try and scare the girl into surrendering.[5]
Despite Molly not being phased by Mera's show of power, Mera still attempted to steal Molly's epithet with the amulet. However, Molly had deafened Mera, which allowed Giovanni Potage to attack her and take the amulet. Molly, wanting to restore Sylvie's epithet, was briefly lent it. When the Sweet Jazz Police arrived on the scene, Giovanni took it with him in his escape. Yoomtah Zing, having witnessed this, notified the Bliss Ocean Leader of Giovanni's possession of the amulet. In response, the leader decided that Zora Salazar would need to hunt him down and retrieve it.[5]
"Western Arc"
Later, after setting up a meeting at Redwood Run, Giovanni visited Ramsey Murdoch with the amulet to have its worth appraised. After finding out the amulet was priceless, Giovanni strolled out of the Redwood Run Police Station and encountered two Banzai Vice Principals: Bugsy Pugsler and Arnold Markdown. The two had their Banzai Team attack the captain, and Bugsy took the amulet.[3] Later, while the vice principal was skipping town, Zora intercepted him and gained possession of it.[6]
Later, Ramsey nabbed the amulet from Zora during a duel between him, her, and Percival King, swapping it with a replica made of fool's gold. He gave the genuine amulet to Percy, who then gave it to the Sweet Jazz Police Department.[7]
