Deepwood Country is a country filled with lush forests, and underground tunnels and cities. The current capital is Bellmouth.

It will be the main setting of the Prison Arc.

Population

“Deepwood Race” people have dark skin and hair. Arnold Markdown and Howie Honeyglow are Deepwood race. Molly Blyndeff and Lorelai Blyndeff are both Deepwood-Taiga mix. Calliope Blyndeff, their mother, was also Deepwood Race.^{[Citation Needed]}

Geography

Deepwood Country is the country south of Taiga Country. The forests get thicker and eventually transition into jungles full of glowing flora. Beneath the massive forests are underground cities linked by subway tunnels. Mushrooms glow in the dark.

Crime

Film noir-style detectives and superhero fight justice in factory slums and swamps.

Bellmouth

Bellmouth is the current capital of Deepwood Country. Bellmouth is underground, and their buildings are carved out of giant redwood tree roots.

Aminata

Postcard

Aminata is the former capital city of Deepwood Country. It was built around a giant mangrove tree, but was abandoned after a limnic eruption asphyxiated everyone at the nexus of a railroad station, starting a chain reaction of derailing trains and ending with everything blown up.

Honeyglow Marsh

"You see, the trick of this challenge is figuring out what to do with an incomplete recipe."

Howie Honeyglow is from this area. It the vacation spot of Blyndeff Family, the young daughters fondly remember playing here. It's filled with bees and butterflies. It would be closely replicated by Lorelai Blyndeff years later.

Trivia

• Brendan Blaber once joked that Deepwood Country was primarily "Cops are bad" as well "Ghosts?".
• It will be the main setting for Sweet Escape and Book 7.
• The cancelled second half of Season 2 would have taken place in Deepwood Country.
