Capabilities[edit source]
Epithets are inheriently tied to a person's own perception of a word and the associations with it.[1] This means that the powers of Epithets are incrediably varied.
Creativity determines how varied a person's epithet's abilties are. For example, while Indus Tarbella only uses one or two abilties due to his low Creativity, Giovanni Potage has a large variety.[1]
Imbuing[edit source]
A person may "transcribe" their Epithet into an object, filling it with some of its power.[2] This is called "Imbuing".[Citation Needed] This can be permanent[2] like with the Arsene Amulet.[Citation Needed]. Or it can be temporary like when Zora Salazar used Percival King's sword[2] and her Twin Pistols.[3] Permanent Imbuing takes a lot more work then temporary.[2]
