Bubblegum Renegade[1], formerly known as Neo Trio Song,[2] New Outro Song, and Season 2 Ending Theme is an original song that takes place in a universe where the characters are in the 1950s, while the song itself centers around the character of "The Bubblegum Renegede". The song was listed as the $50K reward for The Prison of Plastic Kickstarter.[3] It's considered as the 3rd ending theme for the Epithet Erased Franchise, however it's seemingly unrelated to the main story.

The lyrics are written by Brendan Blaber with composition by HvnterBvss and vocal direction by Dawn M. Bennett. The song stars Bryn Apprill as the voice of Phoenica, Dani Chambers as the voice of Molly, Lindsay Sheppard as the voice of Stonk, Marissa Lenti as the voice of Stink, and Oz Ryan as the voice of Trixie (The Bubblegum Renegade). The accompanying music video is illustrated by Luveygold.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

The year is 1952. Three kids sit outside the malt shop and warn a classmate of the dreaded "Bubblegum Renegade," the nastiest ankle-biter on the playground. An Epithet Erased original song.

Lyrics[edit | edit source]

[PRELUDE]

Did you guys want to hit up the playground after school?

Can’t go to that playground, kid. That’s Renegade territory.

You don’t mess with the Renegade!

“Renegade?”

You don’t know about the Bubblegum Renegade?

Heh. Then I guess we’ll just have to tell you.

[VERSE 1]

Card in the spokes and shoulder spikes

Tearin' up the town on a tricked-out trike

Safety wheels off: They’re a dang’rous breed

Don’t use a bandage when they scrape their knees

Stays after class, Tagging in chalk

Heard that on a double dare, they ate a rock

Getting in fights, Cutting in line

Bet they've been to juvie like a dozen times

[BRIDGE]

You don’t mess, Mess, Mess with the Renegade (Oh no)

If you do, Then, Look at the mess you’ve made (Whoa-whoa)

[CHORUS]

Nasty, no-good, naught but trouble

Bubblegum Renegade

You want stress, Well you’d get less

From divin’ on a live grenade

[INTERMISSION]

Careful darlin’. School just got out.

Walkin’ home from the malt shop at this time of day..

Never know who you might run into.

Don’t worry! I’ll head straight home! (But she didn’t.)

[VERSE 2]

Straight-A student in a poodle skirt

Playing on the playground when she got hurt

Tripped in the park and her lanky limbs

Got trapped in the jumble of the jungle gym

Who should appear, Pink leather vest

Lolly in the mouth like a cigarette

What could she do, No one to help

Baby teenybopper all by herself

[BRIDGE]

When a hand, Hand, Hand comes reachin’ out (Whoa yeah)

They will help, help, help help help you out (Whoa whoa)

[CHORUS]

Nasty, no-good, naught but trouble

Bubblegum Renegade

Say they’re sour, but turns out they’re

Sweeter than lemonade

[INTERMISSION]

The Renegade nodded, then turned to go.

I asked for a playdate… but they said “No.”

Gotta get home by six. Sorry. I wanna.

But mom gets worried. And I love my mama.

They revved up their spokes so they wouldn’t be late.

But I’ll never forget you… my Renegade.

[CHORUS]

Nasty, no-good, naught-but-trouble

Bubblegum Renegade

Helps you out when you’re in trouble

Bubblegum… Renegade
