Howdy Morning's Cat is the cat of Howdy Morning. They assist him at his tavern and store his shotgun in their hat.

Appearance

Howdy Morning's Cat is a gray-furred average-sized cat. They wear raccoon skin headband, similar to their owner's raccoon skin hat as well as a can on a string around their neck.

Personality

Howdy’s Morning’s Cat is fairly intelligent, able to understand when he asks for his gun. They also seem to value their own life, pulling out Howdy’s shotgun when threatened as well as hiding in his hat during the battle.

History

Past

At some point, the cat was adopted by Howdy Morning, becoming close enough to answer to him as well as holding on to his shotgun. They also stayed at his tavern.

Howdy Morning's Cat sat on the counter of the bar and watched as Percival King and Ramsey Murdoch entered Howdy Morning's Tavern. When Percy announced she was with the Sweet Jazz Police to Giovanni Potage, the other Banzai Blasters raised their Peashooters at her, and Howdy Morning's Cat also raised Howdy Morning's shotgun at her. Later in the fight, Howdy Morning's Cat stayed in Howdy's hat and popped out briefly to give Howdy his gun when he asked for it. After the fight, Howdy Morning's Cat sat on a stool and watched Percy and Ramsey Murdoch convince Howdy to give Arnold Markdown a coupon to give them information. They also gave Howdy his shotgun again when he asked for it since he had been asked to guard Arnold .

• Howdy Morning's Shotgun: Howdy Morning's Cat holds onto Howdy Morning's shotgun filled with Spell-em' Up Soup until he asks for it. They also pulled out the shotgun after Giovanni Potage announced that there was a "police lady" in the bar and the Banzai Blasters readied their Peashooters.

Howdy Morning’s Cat seems to have a close bond with their owner, and the only one known to have such a bond with him. This is shown through Howdy Morning’s Cat safeguarding his shotgun as well as giving it to him if he asks for it. They also hid under his hat during the fight.

• Howdy Morning's Cat is also able to squeeze under Howdy Morning's hat, despite there seemingly not being enough space.
• Howdy Morning's Cat's name is unclear due to being referred to as "Bartender's Cat", "Cat With Gun", and "Cat" out-of-universe. However in-universe he is referred to solely as "cat" (albeit, usually in lowercase). It is unclear if this is the cat's actual name or simply the nickname Howdy Morning has for his unnamed cat.
• In “All's Well That Ends Well”, during the last conversation in the tavern, in the over-head map view, Howdy Morning’s Cat is shown to be sitting on a stool, while in the sprite view, they are shown sitting on the counter.
