The Islanders assumed that the Australians had little knowledge of navel warfare given the maelstrom preventing them from sea travel and they figured they were safe so long as they stayed on their ships. The last thing they were expecting was for them to dismount their dinosaurs, take to the seas and continue their assault riding on the backs of giant snakes.[2]
