Star Bite #2 is the second chapter of the web anthlogy Epithet Star Bites. Released on Aug 24, 2026 and illustrated by Flare Theguncalamity, it follows Giovanni Potage, Molly Blyndeff, and Crusher recording a cooking show hosted by Giovanni, with his secret plan to get Molly to eat food.[1] It is a sequel to Prison of Plastic.

Plot
Giovanni Potage welcomes his viewers to another episode of Meals to DIE For!, a cooking show hosted by himself that Crusher helps with. Crusher, mostly off-camera, lowers a piece of cardboard into the frame acting as a title card to the show. It lifts up to reveal Giovanni, wearing his Vincent Murder costume, except that the cape was replaced with an acid-washed apron. Giovanni introduces himself and explains the meal he will be cooking is "hellfire chicken", served with a salad "that's just...TO DIE FOR!". Giovanni's villain group exclaims "to die for", as Giovanni points a thumbs up at the camera. A blurry brown thumb is then seen in the shot before being removed. Giovanni then further explains that the meal will be nutritious and cheap.
Molly appears behind the camera she's holding, suspicious, asking if this is a trick to get her to eat. The narrator explains that "it absolutely was", and that Molly had eaten a breakfast Giovanni and Crusher made for her, but even so it was impossible to offer her anything. Molly felt as though she was overstepping when she got offered food, even if she is malnourished. Giovanni is obsessed with getting her something to eat, and thought that tricking her was the only way to get her to eat something. Giovanni assures Molly that it's not a trick and that they have been doing this for weeks. He cuts the episode to commercial, and Crusher flips the cardboard title card that read "SPONSORED BY: EGGS". Giovanni brings Molly to the side and tells her a half-truthful statement that they were trying to get Dark Star to eat healthier. Molly is still suspicious of Giovanni, but can't tell if he is lying. She hopes Giovanni is not lying, mostly because she liked being the camerawoman for their show. Hesitantly, she agrees, and starts filming again.
Giovanni starts the recipe, starting with the chicken. As he starts preparing it, he explains that many "low-budget" recipes require an entire rotisserie chicken and makes you debone it. As Molly records, she sees Crusher take a red glowstick as he nods at her, preparing for a special effect they planned. Molly takes a package of bologna and wiggles it in the center of the frame as Crusher wails like a siren and flung the glow stick across the kitchen. Giovanni exclaims "Wuh Oh!", "It's the Bologna Alarm! Because that's a LOAD OF BOLOGNA! The only bologna we want in this kitchen is in a sandwich! (See episode four for more details)". The episode continues, as Giovanni gets so mad that he pre-heats his "villainous oven" to 400 degrees.
Giovanni starts crushing up a small bag of Tri-angers to be the coating, channeling his "VILLAINOUS RAGE in order to crush [his] foes to dust!". He goes through the other steps, coating the chicken with flour, eggs, and the Tri-angers dust before putting it in a baking pan and putting it in the oven. Once he finished, he started working on the next step. Molly wonders if the villain group would editing the video before sharing it somewhere, but Giovanni was so fast they didn't need to.
Molly then has a realization, and asks Giovanni if he will be posting it online. Giovanni says he won't, and that they would just be posted into his group chat. She does not want to be found by her dad or sister yet, thinking it would serve them right if they freaked out about Molly's disappearance ever since they forgot her at the Sweet Jazz City Museum. She immediately focuses back to the cooking show after Giovanni slammed the oven door. While the chicken cooks, he starts making the salad, emphasizing that the orange juice in the salad dressing could be substituted with Legally Orange, an orange drink that is legally the color orange. Molly had a bottle of Legally Orange at her house, and anytime she thought she couldn't make the recipe, it was if Giovanni read her mind and suggested a cheap substitute for that item.
Just as Giovanni finished making the salad, the chicken finished cooking, looking delicious but like "[c]arrots harvested from a uranium mine" because of the orange color. However, when Giovanni opened the chicken and put it in the salad, Molly found the colors contrasted nicely together. Giovanni announces it is time for a taste test, as he takes the camera from Molly and gestures her to try it. Molly declines the offer, but Giovanni acts sad, making molly feel guilty. She volunteers Crusher to try it, but Giovanni feels he is biased towards his cooking, requiring someone else to be the neutral third party. Molly eventually eats it, much to her dismay, but immediately feels better due to the taste and texture of the meal. Giovanni taunts her, twisting the camera lens in and out on her face. Molly says "You guys are so mean to me" in a friendvoice, the same kind of voice Phoenica Fleecity does around her and Trixie Roughhouse. Molly thinks about it, and supposes that Giovanni and Crusher are her friends now, finding it to be nice.
