Say No

From Epithet Erased Wiki
(Redirected from SAY NO)

Say No[1] (sometimes stylized as SAY NO[2], or Say No![3]) is the opening theme for Epithet Erased - Prison of Plastic. It was produced because the Prison of Plastic Kickstarter reached $40K.[4] It is the 2nd Opening of Epithet Erased.

A preview was released on Twitter, as well as the "TV edit" was released on Patreon.[5] The Lyrics Video was released on May 16, 2022.[1]

Lyrics[edit | edit source]

How do you balance the irons in the fire when you keep gettin' burned and you living with a liar?

Only a minor but the problem’s Ursa Major, you mend what’s broke but you can’t fix bad behavior

Terrified that you're being inefficient while spinning the plates and washing the dishes.

Your friends all say that you need to take a break before you're broken.

But you're terrified, because in your eyes you know you need to go and-

File your taxes, breaking your back, & wishing for freedom.

Life's inelastic, Prison of Plastic? you got to make it so.

You can just say "no~oo!"

You won't ever get that normal, but if you act sororal.

Then maybe you can have a taste.

Epithet Erased.

    Lorelai Turnabout

to be honest, there's actually a few small issues I'm going want to clean up before releasing this publicly. We'll see if I have the time. I would've needled Powerhouse a little harder for additional changes, but honestly they already had 3+ weeks of unexpected delays on their end and at a certain point it's just faster to do things myself. It's still kind of wild to me that they don't create character turnarounds on their own. We had to provide those. ...Well, I guess that's a little unfair. They made ones for Feenie and Trixie, but tbh they weren't very good! <:) I actually ended up linking them Speyer's cute little animatic for "Weirdos Make Great Superheroes" as a reference for how to draw Phoenica and Trixie's heads turning.

As well as realizing they didn't do the underside of Lorelai's palms right.[17] In the comments also explaining it was a certain section he also wanted to fix.[18]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • It might serve as the opening theme for a possible season 2.
  • Luveygold impulsively[22] bought a 15 second ad for Prison of Plastic in times square, New York City for $40.[23] They attempted to get a refund but it didn't work.[24] Brendan Blaber would note that ""We've officially hit the point where fans are so desperate for content that they're renting out Time's Square to put up advertisements for us"[25] and that "It's a little unreal how good this ad looks tho tbh".[26] The ad is an clip from the Say No animated intro.
