An extended version was produced because the stretch goal on the Prison of Plastic Kickstarter for $220K is an extended version of this song has been reached.[1]

- October 27, 2023 - On Twitter, it was noted that production of an Extended version of Deadline was easy.[4]
- April 16, 2024 - On Patreon, a preview of the Extended version of Deadline was posted.[5]
- April 17, 2024 - On Twitter, it was announced that there will be there more Epithet Erased this week, one of them being Deadline, as well as releasing a cropped screenshot.[6]

- This opening theme according to Brendan Blaber was completed in a crunch within only a few weeks.
- Basically, this song emphasizes on the stress the staff has when working on the show.[10]
- Many people called the Extended version the "Molly Villain Song" and Brendan Blaber acknowledged that it kind of became that.[9]
