Dunce Cap Nudibranchs, or simply known as Dunce Caps or Nudibranchs, are small sea creatures with powerful sunken cups that use random items as hats. They can wash up on shore, and it is common courtesy for beach-goers to pick and them up and toss them back into the ocean. Notably this was utilized by the Neo Trio for a game before finding Rick Shades beached while the Nudibranchs tried to use him as a hat.

Characteristics
They are squiggly squishy little sea creatures that are star-shaped with blue and white rim. About the size of clementine. Trixie Roughhouse described it as "looks like a snail without a shell". Blind, they crawl around the ocean floor, picking up stuff they find as a protective hat like sea grass, a plastic cup, a beer bottle, or a pool noodle. Using their strong suction cups they can carry hats many times their weight and size. They weren’t good swimmers, which means their heavy hats would cause them to tumble through currents, and sometimes their hats were so heavy they can’t wiggle back to shore after washing up during a storm. Common courtesy is for Beachgoers to pick them up and toss them back into the sea.[1]
